Calm Before The Storm

Labor Day weekend 2008 was our last weekend at the beach house pre-Ike. Had a great weekend as usual. Fortunately we got to eat at Steve's Landing, the best seafood restaurant on the peninsula, because as it turns out it would be our last meal there. Before we left we took pictures all around the house because Hurricane Gustav was headed for the beach at the time and we weren't sure what to expect. Gustav turned out to be nothing.
